Hollybarn Dog and Puppy Training are excited to be able to offer a much more personal approach to kennels and boarding for your dog or puppy.While you are away enjoying your holiday or short break. Instead of your dog or puppy being boarded in a traditional kennel or boarding environment, they will stay with leading dog trainer, behaviourist and qualified Veterinary Nurse Emma Whelan in her own home in Claremorris in rural Co Mayo and have a holiday all of their own.
We pride ourselves on providing the best care possible for your dog so we sleep your dog where you sleep it, feed when you feed, feed what you feed and walk when you walk maintaining your dogs normal routine.
This means the home boarding experience is much less stressful than traditional kennels. Your dog gets all the care and attention during their holiday stay with us that they would at home from you. They become part of our family during their stay.
Don't worry if you have a multi-dog household and would like boarding for them all as we will take more than one dog from one household so you don't have to break up the family.
Conveniently situated only 20 minutes away from Knock Airport for your flights so we are perfectly located for your holiday dog kennels / in home boarding holiday requirements. We recommend that your dog should be fully vaccinated to stay with us.

We Can Take Your Dog Even if it Has Medical Problems
If your dog or puppy has any medical problems, is taking prescription drugs or needs special medical care or treatment while you are away that's no problem. What better place to leave your pet than with a qualified veterinary nurse. Just let us know all the details and we'll take care of it.
