Our goal at Hollybarn Dog and Puppy Training Ireland is to teach you and your family how to train and interact with your dog so you can have the pet you always wanted. And don't worry, none of our training techniques employ the use of food treats as the reward mechanism so no more carrying around pockets full of dog treats.

Dog Training Classes, Sessions and Courses At Hollybarn Dog and Puppy Training Ireland we have proved time and time again that the most effective training is delivered where you, your family and your dog or puppy interact on a daily basis. We use a more personal, tried and tested approach to dog training and come to your home so both you and your dog are in your own environment.

We also find that the more people in your family who get involved in the training session the better. This is another reason why we deliver dog training and behaviour sessions and classes in your own home.

Each of our sessions or classes is tailored to your individual requirements, because every relationship between our dogs and us is totally unique and just like us every dog is different with their own character, problems and issues.

We teach you the owner to train your dog or puppy. Our training sessions are crammed full of training and behaviour tips and advice enabling you to take charge and become the master of your dog and the pack leader of your family. We use positive re-inforcement techniques but most importantly without using food as the reward.

We help you to understand your dogs behaviour and why your dog does what it does. This makes addressing and fixing the problem much easier.

We don't just cover the west of Ireland we provide one to one dog training and behaviour sessions in Mayo, Galway, Clare, Roscommon, Sligo, Leitrim, Longford, Cavan Westmeath, Offaly, Dublin, Greater Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow.

For the more problematic pet we offer residential dog and puppy training courses. We also offer dog kennels and boarding.
